In the dual role of composer and artist, Leon Lowman tells
of a lifetime around the waters of the world. Through acrylic
paint, collage and canvas, the brilliant colors come alive in
pieces of art that often are as large as the ocean.
Taking it to the next level, even the sounds are recreated
with actual recordings and synthesized sounds.
This multi-artistic experience of abstract artist and music
composer excites the world of water and leads the viewer
into a journey of a place few have been. Young and old
seem to feel the movement in the pieces that sometimes
are as big as life.

“What I hope to bring is the feeling I have experienced as I
have gazed across the ocean - the colors and movement
beneath the surface and the way the light falls so differently
in all of these places. The ocean is my passion and thus the
focus of my paintings and recordings.
I truly want to take people to places I have been while
surfing, kayaking, or diving in the ocean and rivers. If I can
convey that through my art and music, I have achieved my
goal.”
